Vauxhall Motors has teamed-up with Autogreen to sign a significant vehicle recycling contract. The eco-conscious agreement will implement environmentally-friendly technologies to ensure vehicles are recycled to the European End of Life Vehicles directive.

The British car manufacturer has worked hard to be greener and more economical since 1990, and today – in accordance with its ‘Design for Recycling’ strategy – over two hundred recyclable raw materials are integrated with vehicles across the range. A fantastic 45,000 tonnes of these materials are now being used in new models every year.

Vauxhall also support Autogreen’s ‘Rewarding Recycling’ campaign. This campaign means Vauxhall drivers can not only rest assured that their old car is being disposed of ethically, but make money on it too. All they need to do is register on the ‘Rewarding Recycling’ website. Once that’s done they’ll receive an instant quote for the vehicle, which can then be collected from a home address or the closest authorized Vauxhall dealership.
