Fiat Automobiles UK appoints Autogreen LTD as its new End of Life service Provider.
Autogreen are pleased to announce that they have been appointed by Fiat Automobiles UK Limited to be their new service provider for the disposal of End of Life Vehicles beyond 2015.
The agreement, that will include the following brands: Fiat, Alfa Romeo, Abarth, Lancia, Fiat professional, Chrysler, Jeep and Dodge, will ensure Fiat Automobiles UK meets the requirements set out in the European End-of-Life Vehicle Directive.
This Directive, introduced in 2005, states that each member state must achieve a minimum recycling/recovery target of 95% from 2015.
In partnering with Autogreen, Fiat Automobiles UK are ensuring that all end-of-life vehicles handled by Autogreen are recycled using the latest and most environmentally friendly methods available. Most of this work will be conducted within the UK giving a boost to the recycling industry.
Furthermore, as a result of this partnership, all Fiat Automobiles UK customers will now be entitled to a free vehicle take back anywhere in the UK through www.rewardingrecycling.co.uk . As part of Autogreen’s Rewarding Recycling scheme, customers can apply for their vehicle to be uplifted online and, depending on location, even receive some money for their for their end-of-life vehicle.
